How do you repair a chipped bath?Chipped baths are repaired by cleaning the chip and surrounding areas with an alcohol based cleaner, then the chip is checked and sanded to remove any loose particles. Our process is classed as a dustless system and starts with multi layer sanding to bring back the original finish of the wood removing all burns, stains and old oils. We then repair any damage apply two coats of oil of customers choice. Depending on which oil is used we also apply two coats of protective top coat and re apply any silicone sealant that was removed before tha sanding process.
